Camera Shots

Medium Close Up (MCU)

This shot shows the reactions of all of the flying police. This is reactions of the villains when they find out that he will try to run. they showed this medium close to show how many flying policeman they are to show how intimidating they all look.

Close up (CU)

This is a close up of the main character. They choose this particular camera shot to show that the character has no fear and is not afraid to run. They also chose this camera shot to show the characters facial expression

.
Long Shot (LS)

This is a Long Shot they chose this particular camera to show the scene and also to show where the character will be running to. The long shot was the best camera shot to use because its the only one which can show the whole car.

Different Camera Shots

This is a medium close-up we as a group chose this to show the characters emotion and also we want the audience to be intrigued  but also think of the situation.

This is a wide shot/establishing shot,we chose this shot  to show the scene and also to shot that something unpleasant is going to happen because this hot allows the viewers see the that character is creeping up on the victim showing that something bd is going to happen.

this is a medium shot we choose this to show all the action that happening in that particular moment. we thought it would be appropriate to show how the victim is being abused and also to show how vicious the character is being towards the victim.

We also chose this tilt up how dangerous the situation is such as how the victim is in a live or die situation. We thought that is shot was the best one to show how dangerous it is.

We chose this tilt down to show the damage that's been inflicted on the victim and also we thought it would be more effective and powerful to use this  camera shot.

Fifa 15 advert

Language:
The title and the consoles logo are key conventions of a videogame advert. The effect created here is to immediately inform the audience of the genre of the advert - the strong FIFA branding will be instantly recognisable to the target audience. The opportunity of the get 40 FUT pacts and new features encourages the audience to take action and therefore creates a strong desire to own the game.

institution:

This game is produced by EA and is available on multiple platforms. EA is known for producing great games but many sports related games.

Audience:

The target audience are many football loving fans aged 6 to 35 its mainly 75% male 25%. EA doesn’t really have an age limit as it’s about football and football is open to all ages. So it a wide age limits.

Representation:

The cover of the advert is very clear on the eye and also very simple as it the FIFA logo and the release date. The background is back to make the FIFA logo clear and eye catching and in order to show the new features.

Wednesday 2 July 2014

The five stories that my group have chose is sports day being postponed, antibiotics,
 and the ugly dog contests.

Sports day postponed: We chose this because we thought it was interesting. We started with sports being postponed because its school news and they would want to be informed.

Antibiotics:We chose this because this kinda story would be in the news so we wanted it to be realistic. i choice this second because

Classic books:We chose this because we wanted to have a varied news broadcast so its appealing to certain people in the school

Belgium vs USA chose this because majority of people in the school would have watched this.

Ugly dog contest:We chose this because we wanted to end the broadcast on a funny note.

We made sure that the script was the right length by not putting too much information in so we can record it in 60 seconds.

We made sure each story was clear to understand but giving brief summery and not making I too complicated.

We made sure the broadcast was professional by speckling formally.

I was the director of the group so I made the final decision.

I would rate my group contribution a 4 as they were pretty good and worked as a group

We could of spoke as group more.
I would have wanted to change roles because i wanted to be in the interview

Textual analysis

Genre: The genre is sport I know this because this advert is associated with football which is a sport. This advert has elements of comedy

Audience
The target audience for this Nike advert would be a large, mass-market global audience. This would appeal mainly to football fans due to the famous players involved but there are other clues regarding a more detailed target audience. The 'unknown' players on the park pitch at the start give us an idea about the main target audience - younger males from a variety of ethnic and social class backgrounds.

Platform
Although this is primarily a TV advert, the extended version would mainly be watched online, particularly YouTube. The full four minute advert would not appear on TV (an edited 30 or 60-second version would be used instead) so this extended version would mainly be watched on PCs, laptops, tablets and phones. With a younger target audience in mind, tablets and phones would perhaps be the main devices used to access the advert.
Genre:
The genre of this revenge trailer is drama.

Audience

The target audience for this revenge trailer will be people from the age of 14 to 50 as this will appeal for those people who love drama series.

First blog task

I choice GCSE Media Studies because I feel I will get a good grade in it and it’s the most interesting subject in my opinion. I am looking forward to making the music video. The grade I am realistically aiming for is a grade B. The last TV programme watched was 24 live another day episode 9. TV is appealing to audiences because its entertainment and in some ways amuses them. I accessed my laptop in the last 24 hours. I mostly use my laptop.
